Volvo inicia 2021 como líder entre híbridos

A Volvo começou o ano com o pé direito. A marca sueca manteve a liderança no mercado de automóveis híbridos plug-in e fechou janeiro com 61,2% do mercado. Entre as marcas premium, a Volvo assegurou a vice-liderança no mercado brasileiro.

No mês de janeiro, a marca sueca teve 21,7% de participação no mercado premium. Quando se observa apenas o segmento SUV premium, a participação sobe para 32,5%, tendo os modelos XC40 e XC60 como protagonistas.

“Começamos o ano reforçando as nossas conquistas de 2020. Estamos cada vez mais consolidados na vice-liderança do mercado premium brasileiro, ao mesmo tempo em que mantemos a liderança absoluta entre os SUVs premium e entre os veículos eletrificados. Outro dado interessante é que o segundo semestre de 2020 foi o melhor segundo semestre de vendas da história da Volvo no Brasil, o que nos deixa muito otimistas para o ano de 2021”, destaca João Oliveira, diretor geral de operações e inovação da Volvo Car Brasil.

No ano passado, a Volvo obteve o melhor segundo semestre de vendas da história no país. Foram 5.614 unidades licenciadas, o que corresponde a uma elevação de 12,66%, em relação com 2019. Números que garantiram  a vice-liderança do mercado premium e na liderança dos veículos híbridos plug-in.
