Semicondutores interrompem 3º turno da Fiat

Demorou, mas a crise dos semicondutores bateu na porta da Stellantis. O grupo anunciou que suspenderá parcialmente por três meses o terceiro turno da fábrica de Betim (MG).

A paralisação terá início no dia 4 de outubro e 1.800 funcionários terão os contratos suspensos. Assim, os colaboradores passaram 90 dias em casa.

Segundo a Stellantis, o acordo foi firmado entre a empresa e representantes da categoria. A empresa responsabiliza a crise dos semicondutores pela suspensão. De fato, as unidades de Betim e Goiana (PE) atravessaram o primeiro semestre de 2021 sem sofrer os mesmos impactos que outros fabricantes sofreram.

A General Motors manteve a linha de Gravataí (RS) paralisada de abril a agosto. A unidade de São Caetano do Sul (SP) também foi atingida pela falta de peças. A Renault também precisou paralisar as operações na unidade de São José dos Pinhais (PR) pelo mesmo motivo. Além dos semicondutores, a Stellantis também aponta que outros insumos também comprometerão a produção.

Modelos Fiat em Betim

A unidade de Betim é uma das maiores fábricas do grupo em todo o mundo. De lá saem modelos como Argo, Strada, Uno, Grand Siena, Fiorino e Doblò. A paralisação acontece justamente às vésperas do lançamento do Pulse, o SUV compacto da marca, que estreará o inédito motor 1.0 turbo, combinado com transmissão do tipo CVT.
