Peugeot: Julho foi o mês do leão

Quem não tem cão, caça com… leão. Pois é, o dito popular cai com uma luva para a Peugeot, que comemora o bom desempenho em 2020. A marca do felino aponta elevação de vendas de 164,6% no acumulado de janeiro a julho.

O percentual corresponde a um total de 15.040 unidades comercializadas, com uma média superior a 2 mil carros mensais. Apenas em julho, a marca do leão vendeu 3.074 unidades.

Participação da Peugeot

O volume de vendas lhe garantiu 1,9% de participação no mês passado. Segundo a própria marca, trata-se do melhor desempenho desde outubro de 2012.

“Seguimos colocando em prática o nosso plano de crescimento da marca no mercado nacional. Os resultados até o momento são expressivos e superam fortemente o crescimento do setor”, afirma Cristiano Bandeira, Diretor Comercial da Peugeot Brasil.

E grande parte desse desempenho se deve ao hatch argentino 208. O compacto anotou 1.637 unidades em julho, enquanto o SUV 2008 somou outras 975 unidades.
