Mini será totalmente elétrica em 2030

A Mini acaba de anunciar que se tornará uma marca totalmente eletrificada em 2030. A fabricante britânica segue a tendência da transição dos motores a combustão para unidades elétricas. Desde que foi adquirida pela BMW, a marca tem servido de laboratório de engenharia. O Mini foi responsável pelo desenvolvimento do conjunto mecânico com motor transversal e tração dianteira. Conceito que hoje está presente no Série 2.

Agora o grupo novamente usará a Mini para consolidar sua tecnologia de carros elétricos compactos. Apesar de BMW já contar com elétricos o portfólio, ainda irá demorar para ela aposentar de vez as unidades térmicas.

Mini Cooper SE

O primeiro modelo 100% elétrico da marca é o Cooper SE, que está confirmado para estrear no Brasil em junho. Posteriormente a marca irá ampliar o conjunto elétrico para os demais modelos como o Mini quatro portas, assim como Cabriolet, a perua Clubman e o SUV Countryman.
