Minas lidera em vendas, segundo Anfavea

Minas Gerais foi o estado com maior número de licenciamentos de veículos em 2021. Os dados são da Associação Nacional dos Fabricantes de Veículos Automotores (Anfavea). De acordo com a entidade, MG emplacou 456.607 unidades, contra 453.637 de São Paulo, que historicamente é a unidade federativa com melhor desempenho de vendas.

São menos de 3 mil unidades, mas no comparativo com a performance dos dois estados em 2020, a elevação em Minas foi de 13%, contra uma queda de 8% dos paulistas. Segundo o presidente da Anfavea, Luiz Carlos de Moraes, a explicação se resume a quatro letras: ICMS.

O estado paulista elevou o percentual da alíquota de 12% para 14,5%, em 2021, que teve reflexo direto nas vendas. Ainda de acordo com a Anfavea, todos os estados limítrofes a São Paulo anotaram crescimento de licenciamentos. O Rio de Janeiro anotou elevação de 23%, com 115 mil unidades emplacadas. Ou seja, o consumidor atravessou a divisa para comprar carro.
