Fábrica da Land Rover completa 5 anos

A Jaguar Land Rover celebra 5 anos de atividades como fabricante de automóveis no Brasil. Desde o início das atividades a linha do grupo anglo-indiano já produziu 15 mil unidades no país.

Instalada em Itatiaia (RJ), a fábrica demandou aporte de R$ 750 milhões. Hoje a unidade produz o Discovery Sport e anunciou o retorno da montagem do Range Rover Evoque até o final do ano.

“Estamos celebrando um importante marco em nossa fábrica, que chega a 5 anos fabricando veículos com excelência e demonstrando o compromisso da Jaguar Land Rover com o Brasil. Além do retorno da produção do Evoque no final deste ano, estamos em constante busca por novas tecnologias e soluções que contribuam para a mobilidade e a sustentabilidade, construindo um futuro melhor para as futuras gerações”, diz Frédéric Drouin, Presidente da Jaguar Land Rover América Latina e Caribe.
