Acho que foi para otimizar a faixa de torque em uma rotação mais baixa para segurar o consumo de combustível. Mas estou esperando o carro para andar para ter uma opinião mais precisa.

O 2.0 Powershift SE Direct quando custava menos de R$70mil era ao meu ver o melhor custo x benefício do segmento disparado.

O 1.6 é mais econômico e têm um funcionamento mais suave, liso. Mas falta um pouco mais de torque nele, o que é esperado nesses crossovers que algumas vezes têm de encarar uma ida ao sítio ou fazenda.

Agora uma coisa que não entendi foi a Ford programar o Ecosport para render menos potência com esse 1.6 Powershift. No Focus ele rende 131/135cv. Será que seria para não canibalizar a venda do 2.0???
